Causes & Symptoms for Saccharum Officinale Indicates in children who are large limbed, fat and bloated. For complaints of chronic cystitis, incontinence of urine. Bed wetting in children also from worms is relieved with Saccharum Officinale. Acts as a nutrient and tonic, in wasting disorders, anemia, neurasthenia. Acidity of the stomach and itching at the anus are common. Mind and Head Changeable moods in children, cross, wants little. Disinclined to talk, want of interest is an indication for this remedy. Headache that occurs the same day every week. Eyes, ear, nose Swelling of the eyes with dimness of vision. Discharge of pus from the ear, with dry coryza and sneezing is relieved with this remedy. Mouth and Throat Twitching of muscles of a face with inflammed glands, and mouth ulcers in children. Stomach and abdomen Vomiting of white, viscid, tough mucus. Pressure in stomach, morning, fasting. Painful sensitiveness of pit of stomach. Swelling and induration of mesenteric glands. Stool and Anus Constipation alternating with mucous diarrhoea. Difficulty in passing stool. Urinary complaints Sharp burning pains run from kidneys to shoulder Extremities Edema of lower limbs, hard as stones is an indication for this remedy. Sharp burning pains run up from head to foot, causing a rigidity of the muscles. It is indicated for Edema of feet and ankles. Skin For unhealing ulcers, it gives good results. Generalities The symptoms are worse in early morning, worse from anger, better in erect position. Chilliness alternates with perspiration.
