Its chief actions are on alcoholism, constipation, diarrhoea, giddiness, gouty complaints. Foul breath tending to vomit is an indication for this remedy. Flatulence associated due to the past complaints of Intermittent fever indicates this medicine. Mind and Head Nervous, depressed, glum, taciturn, easily moved to tears is the mental state for indication of Quercus. Whirling vertigo with eczema of scalp. Ear, nose Difficulty in hearing with lot of noises in the head Useful in catarrhal conditions of nose as well. Stomach and abdomen Quercus is a splenic remedy which relieves the pain in the left hypochondrium. Liver and spleen enlarged is resolved with Quercus. Flatulence and abdominal swelling with ascites complaints are relieved with Quercus. Extremities Gait tottering, hands quivered, like a drunken man, is resolved.
